Godwin Pumps Appoints Latin America Regional Manager

Godwin Pumps, the largest manufacturer of portable rental pumps in the U.S., recently expanded its global distribution network into Latin America. As part of its continuing growth strategy, the company has appointed Tomas Fernandez as Latin America Regional Manager.

With more than 13 years of experience at Ingersoll Rand in distribution development and having established distributor channels in Latin America, Fernandez will be responsible for growing Godwin's prominence in Latin America.

"The addition of Tomas to our team represents the culmination of an exhaustive search for a leader with the experience and initiative to grow our presence through distribution channels in this exploding market," said Godwin President John Paz.

Fernandez holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Florida International University and an MBA and master's degree in industrial engineering from the University of Miami. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese and will represent Godwin at the 2008 ConExpo-Con/Agg show in Las Vegas.
