Nationally Televised Show to Tape at Elgin Sweeper

John Ratzenberger will profile Elgin Sweeper Co. for his nationally televised show, John Ratzenberger's Made in America. John selected Elgin Sweeper based on its local economic impact, unique nature of business and cultural contribution as a producer of American-made products.

Ratzenberger and crew will tour the Elgin Sweeper manufacturing plant in Elgin, Ill., on Thursday, Sept. 13. They will go from the weld line to assembly tot water test, then finish with a sweeper road test in the neighboring town of Bartlett.

John Ratzenberger's Made in America celebrates the people, places and prodcuts that are uniquely American. Each year, the program visits roughly 40 manufacturing facilities throughout the country as well as American-made iconic locations. The show airs Tuesdays at 8 and 8:30 p.m. EST on the Travel Channel.
