EPA to Host Free Storm Water Web Cast

The EPA has expressed that it is important for construction sites across the country to develop Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (or similar documents with similar names). To aid in this, the EPA will offer a storm water webcast entitled Construction SWPPPs from A to Z: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know (and More!). The Web Cast will take place January 10, 2007 from 12-2pm EST.

The Web Cast will discuss how to develop an effective SWPPP and introduce EPA’s new guide, “Developing Your Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan: A Guide for Construction Site Operators.”

Among the topics discussed will be tips for common erosion and sediment control BMPs, good housekeeping BMPs and how to conduct effective self-inspections. To register for the free Web Cast, visit www.epa.gov/npdes/training.
