StormwaterAuthority.org Launches Virtual Storm Water Products & Services Directory
StormwaterAuthority, LLC, a multi-partnered website designed to assist both the private and public sectors in making informed decisions about storm water treatment and management, announced the launch of the 2006 Stormwater Stockpile, the online directory of storm water products, services and new technology available to the market.
This new online directory features the latest technology and products for the construction, post-construction and industrial storm water industry. Products from hundreds of companies are included, with photos, full descriptions and a profile page that includes more detailed information, pollutant removal capabilities, research, documents, and case studies.
Visitors may search by product or service type, company, state, or country. The Stormwater Stockpile is also searchable by pollutant type, showing products that have performance in removing a specific pollutant of concern. A visitor may also contact the company directly via email, phone or address, or visit the company website. When new technologies are added to the directory, an announcement is generated through the site to showcase the product and company to visitors.
“This site announcement allows visitors to stay informed of new products and services to the market. It only helps the industry grow and increases awareness of new technologies or changes in the market,” said Lisa Begin, General Manager of StormwaterAuthority.org. Companies interested in being a part of the Stormwater Stockpile may sign up online when they visit the website. “We want all companies that provide a product or service to the storm water industry involved. New technologies and products are appearing in the market. It is important that decision makers have one place where they can find all the information to make a sound decision, and to also know when new and improved products are launched in the storm water sector. Otherwise, opportunities may be missed because they are unaware of what is available to them,” said Begin.
The StormwaterAuthority.org site is supported by a number of organizations and companies through the affiliate program, including Stormwater360, Roscoe Moss Company, BaySaver Technologies, Inc., CDS Technologies, Inc., Filtrexx International, Inc., Certified Erosion Control, Storm Water Services, North American Green, River Network, and Water & Wastes Digest.
