Axle Extensions

These axle extensions expand R.S. Technical Services’ single-conductor TranSTAR steerable mainline transporter’s inspection capabilities when configured with 8-in. pneumatic tires. A 2.5:1 gear ratio provides additional torque, controls top speed and increases overall durability, while the additional weight and extended width improve traction and stability in large-diameter pipelines and lines made of challenging materials such as brick or corrugated metal.
