EPA Supports Philadelphia's Clean Water Plan

EPA announced nearly $5 million in federal financial support

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced nearly $5 million in federal financial support for Philadelphia’s nationally renowned Green City, Clean Waters plan to improve water quality and enhance the city’s neighborhoods and economy. Officials in attendance included Nancy Sutley, chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality; Bob Perciasepe, EPA deputy administrator; Shawn M. Garvin, EPA regional administrator; Ramona Trovato, associate assistant administrator, EPA Office of Research and Development; and Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter.
