The Water Environment Federation (WEF) is now accepting applications for the 2025 National Municipal Stormwater and Green Infrastructure Awards. Established in 2015 through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the program recognizes high-performing Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) communities that meet and exceed regulatory requirements in a technically effective and financially efficient way.

Submissions are evaluated by an expert committee in two categories: program management and innovation. The three highest-scoring programs in Phase I and II for each category will be honored at WEFTEC 2025.

The application period opens June 27, 2025, and closes August 31, 2025. Organizations unable to attend WEFTEC will receive their awards through alternative arrangements.
