This week on Dropping By, Katie Johns, managing editor of Storm Water Solutions, is  joined by Will Vangelder, senior environmental scientist with the Surface Water Improvement and Management (SWIM) section of the Southwest Florida Water Management DistrictThe two discuss Clam Bayou, which over time, dredging and filling activities have degraded. To combat that, restoration and storm water treatment projects were implemented by the SWIM Program of the Southwest Florida Water Management District, in partnership with the cities of St. Petersburg and Gulfport and the Florida Department of Environmental protection.
