Oct. 3, 2025

An initiative that originally started in 2022 and gained traction in 2024 brought together the Sustainability Institute at Ohio State University (SI), CampusParc and Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) to install three high-rate biofiltration systems on the OSU campus. The three systems filter pollutants out of runoff from parking lots and other campus areas to provude both environmental and research benefits. The monitoring of the units began in December 2024 and preliminary results show that the units are performing as expected.
