This week, SWS Managing Editor Katie Johns is joined by Jason Kuchnicki, environmental scientist IV with the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection. The two dive into the Lake Tahoe Total Maximum Daily Load Program and the results of its 2020 Performance. The report found that in 2020, urban implementing partners reduced fine sediments by over 523,00 pounds, surpassing program targets.
