I cannot believe it is already time for our November/December issue. What a year it has been. In this issue, we wrap up a challenging year but not before recognizing outstanding industry work. On the following pages, you will find write-ups of our 2020 Top Projects.

From erosion control to green infrastructure, the projects are as varied as our industry, and to ensure we dug as deep as possible into these projects, each one has an accompanying video interview on estormwater.com with project stakeholders. I hope you will view each video to learn more and see if any of these solutions can be applied to your current and upcoming projects.

This issue also includes results from our 2020 State of the Industry Survey. You can find the results on the following pages, but to summarize, the majority of respondents said 2020 was average for their business and anticipate 2021 to be the same. Of course, COVID-19 threw a wrench into many plans, and some projects were delayed. Accompanying our results is an article featuring voices from the industry sharing how they think 2021 might look.

To dive deeper into the state of the entire water industry, tune into this month’s Talking Under Water episode, which will feature the industry voices I mentioned above along with perspectives from the wastewater and water quality side. That state of the industry episode can be found at www.estormwater.com/talkingunderwater.

We have some exciting projects in the works for 2021, including our first-ever Young Pros and Industry Icon Awards. Nominations are open until January 4, and these inaugural award winners will be featured in our March/April issue. We look forward to starting these awards and continuing our mission of being a leading industry resource. Have a happy and safe holiday season!
