Rick Besancon, senior project manager at Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company, discusses the firm's project in Oklahoma City that focused on erosion control for the North Canadian River. Near Oklahoma City, the rive was migrating away from an existing intake of a power generation facility. If it continued to move away from the intake, it would disrupt the electrical generation for the city. In this interview, Besancon discusses the river restoration project goals and challenges.
