Hanes Geo Components Acquires ScourStop

Jan. 31, 2014

Hanes Geo Components, of Winston Salem, NC, has announced that it has assumed manufacturing and distribution of ScourStop transition mats from Landmark Earth Solutions. ScourStop transition mats are polymeric panels that protect against erosion and scour at culvert pipe outfalls and other erosive areas.

ScourStop, and its economy version EcoTrans, are now part of a broad line of geosynthetic products and erosion/sediment control materials offered by Hanes Geo Components.   ScourStop and EcoTrans will continue to be available from the same independent stocking distributors which worked with Landmark Earth Solutions.  Technical support and design assistance, which are key aspects of the Hanes offering, will continue to accompany ScourStop and EcoTrans.

Hanes Geo Components will highlight ScourStop and EcoTrans at Environmental Connection 2014, the annual conference and exposition of the International Erosion Control Association.  This year’s conference is being held at Opryland in Nashville, TN from February 25th to the 28th.  Also on display will be ScourStop’s new bullet anchor system, which offers greater pull-out resistance than ever before.
