Finn Hires Distribution Sales Manager for Southeast Territory

Fairfield, OH (June 9, 2014): FINN Corporation, a world leader in the manufacturing of environmental, erosion control and landscape equipment and materials, has hired Melissa Miller as its Distribution Sales Manager (DSM) covering the Southeastern U.S. Miller will manage three FINN full service dealers plus the open territories in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas. She begins her new duties immediately.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Miller is FINN’s direct contact with its dealers Flint Equipment (South Carolina and Georgia), Vermeer Southeast (Florida and Alabama), and Stowers Cat (Eastern Tennessee). She also covers the direct equipment and material sales territories in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas.

“Melissa is a great find for us. She not only has a strong equipment demonstration background but also a great amount of experience in the turf industry,” says Tim Gerbus, Director Dealer Development. “She understands equipment operations, maintenance, and service. We are looking forward to her being a part of the great team we already have at FINN.”

Miller has worked as an Account Executive, Equipment Demonstration Specialist, and Crew Foreman at several landscape and golf equipment companies, including as a Territory Salesperson for Nortrax, the John Deere construction and forestry equipment dealer. Miller received a degree in the Turf Grass Management Program from Michigan State, and graduated with a Business degree from the University of Georgia, focusing on sales and marketing. She’s also working towards an MBA at Kennesaw State University.
