UK group launches new GI company
A UK-based company, RSK group, has recently announced the launch of a new blue-green infrastructure company, named Solutions By Nature.
RSK aims to direct the new company’s products towards reducing the effects of climate change, reverse water pollution and biodiversity loss, and providing long-term financial benefits to companies.
An environmental, engineering and technical services group, RSK is comprised of around 105 companies employing around 6,000 people. RSK says that the Solutions By Nature lineup will offer a whole-life-cycle approach to developing catchment-based blue-green infrastructure solutions that can displace traditional grey infrastructure.
The company's solutions will be created using natural processes and materials, including peatland restoration, green infrastructure, river restoration and integrated constructed wetlands. The group will offer quantifiable analyses of installations’ performance using digital monitoring to help clients meet their goals. It will also be able to offer a wide array of services from RSK’s existing erosion control and water engineering companies, Binnies and Salix.
