Grasscrete is a Bomanite Pervious Concrete System that utilizes a cast-in place, monolithic design. It is a green alternative to standard concrete surfaces that provides a variety of landscape solutions while maintaining a sustainable design used for emergency access lanes, delivery routes, overflow parking areas and for intermittent drainage channels that help prevent erosion. It can be used as an exposed utilitarian product for functional apllications or as a concealed system with vegetation or native ground cover installed in the concrete. The system mitigates drainage issues while maintaing strong structural integrity that allows heavy vehicles to operate without issue. The product can help with Sustainable Urban Drainage (SUDS) and can help handle surface water runoff. The system can be utilized for vehicle parking, helipads, slope protection, drainage channels, swales, spillways, road shoulders, medians and emergency access roads.
