Registration is open for Great Connections, a bi-annual Midwest conference co-organized by International Erosion Control Assn. (IECA) Chapters. The event will be hosted April 24 to 26, 2018, in Dubuque, Iowa, at the Grand River Center by the Great Lakes and Great Rivers Chapters along with the city of Dubuque's 10th Annual Watershed and Storm Water Symposium.

Attendees will have the opportunity to earn up to 11.5 Professional Development Hours, network with other storm water and erosion control industry professionals, and learn about the latest industry technologies in the Expo Hall. The conference keynote speaker will be Dr. Wallace J. Nichols, discussing his New York Times best seller Blue Mind.

Beyond more than 30 technical sessions, the bi-annual event also will feature a bowling social and networking event on the first day, providing an opportunity to network with other professionals in a relaxed atmosphere. The second day of the conference will offer a reception and banquet at the National Mississippi River Museum, and the third day will conclude with a tour of the Upper Bee Branch Field. Great Connections promises to present Midwest storm water and erosion control professionals with an ideal environment to explore the latest industry developments, learn from a series of interesting technical sessions and network with other professionals.
