NPCA Launches Redesigned Website

The new website features succinct copy, large images and simple navigation

The National Precast Concrete Assn. (NPCA) launched a redesigned website designed to simplify learning about the precast concrete industry and finding industry manufacturers and suppliers.

The website, www.precast.org, is part of NPCA’s effort to raise awareness of the precast industry. It ranks high in a range of key search results and reached nearly 750,000 pageviews in 2014.

The redesigned site meets the evolving expectations of visitors for succinct copy, large images and simple navigation. In addition, the number of mobile visitors per year has nearly quadrupled since 2012. As such, the website is built on a responsive framework that provides a seamless experience on any size device.

“When we launched our first website in 1995, on the recommendation of a member, it was one page and basically offered our contact information,” said NPCA President Ty Gable. “To say it has evolved over the years would be an understatement. The latest version makes it easy for anyone, anywhere on any device to learn about the precast industry and find our members and it brings the world’s best building material to the forefront.”
