American Concrete Pipe Association Supports Sustainable Water Coalition

The American Concrete Pipe Association (ACPA), the voice of the concrete pipe industry, announced that it has joined the Sustainable Water Infrastructure Coalition (SWIC).
The SWIC is an alliance of corporations, public organizations, industry trade associations and others working to advance sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure policy through public awareness, education and advocacy. SWIC has been the lead organization advancing legislation that would provide up to $5 billion annually in private investment in water and wastewater treatment infrastructure projects by lifting these projects from under the state volume cap on private activity bonds. ACPA is committed to a sustainable water system and supports SWIC's work of informing decision-makers and the public of the importance of funding this type of work.
ACPA is also a member of the Clean Water Council (CWC). CWC is a group of more than 35 national organizations representing underground construction contractors, design professionals, manufacturers and suppliers, labor unions and others committed to promoting sound environmental infrastructure and meeting the nation’s water and wastewater treatment needs.
