MKB Company LLC and Silt Sock Inc. have announced an agreement to merge the two companies by the end of the year.
The combined companies will operate under the MKB Company name with the Silt Sock brand continuing to operate as a division of MKB Company.

MKB Company and Silt Sock have worked collaboratively for years, and this merger may allow both companies to better serve their customers by offering additional manufacturing and distribution locations and a wider variety of product offerings.
Peter Tonn and Jason Alderink, founders, and owners of Silt Sock, expressed their enthusiasm for the merger: "We are excited to join forces with MKB Company and look forward to continuing to provide best-in-class products to our customers nationwide. This merger adds Silt Sock’s three locations, Foley, MN; Portage, WI; and Milaca, MN to MKB company’s existing 12 locations; further expanding MKB Company's commitment to support regional and national distribution across the country with its products.
The merged company will operate under the leadership of Rick Costello, President of MKB Company. Jason Alderink and Peter Tonn, founders and owners of Silt Sock, will join the existing MKB Company Ownership Team and will remain focused on growing their existing Minnesota and Wisconsin locations, as well as driving product and sales growth for MKB Company with a particular focus on expansion in the Midwest and Western parts of the United States.
