In this week’s episode of Dropping By, SWS Managing Editor Katie Johns is joined by Laura Frolich, another SWS 2021 Young Pro. Frolich is a public works supervisor with the Snohomish County Surface Water Management. For the last 6 years, Laura has been supervising 16 employees and managing much of the county’s NPDES Phase 1 responsibilities. Those regulatory programs include mapping the county’s drainage system MS4, source control- business inspections and the county storm water operations and maintenance programs.

John and Frolich discuss Frolich’s career, along with her goals and advice for other young professionals.
