MWRD President Selected to Seventh Edgar Fellows Class
The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) President Mariyana Spyropoulos was selected as one of 40 emerging leaders in the state of Illinois to take part in the seventh class of the prestigious University of Illinois Edgar Fellows Program facilitated by the Institute of Government and Public Affairs. Participants were selected by an advisory board comprised of former and current elected leaders and public and private executives and directors.
The weeklong leadership program was held in Champaign, Ill., in August and included presentations, workshops and activities lead by two dozen policy experts and experienced practitioners. The program is designed by former Illinois Gov. Jim Edgar to inspire respectful and collaborative leadership to address the state's major challenges. Participants were selected from among 168 nominees and included elected and appointed officials from government, non-profit organizations and business. Only 272 Fellows have completed the program since its inception.

Aqua Bio Announces Rebranding
Aqua Bio Technologies LLC, a manufacturer of biologic water restoration, water reclaim, rain harvest, odor control and reverse osmosis systems, announced its rebrand which includes a new website, logo and positioning.

IECA Region One Elects 2019 Board Members
The International Erosion Control Assn. Region One (IECA) recently held the annual board of directors election for terms beginning February 2019. Adam L Dibble, CPESC-IT, CESSWI; Dylan Drudul, CPESC; and Mark Myrowich, B.Comm, CPESC, CIESC have been elected to the IECA Region One Board of Directors.
Adam Dibble has served as vice president of the Great Lakes chapter of IECA, and for the past two years as the vice president of marketing for Region One Board of Directors. Dylan Drudul has served as the Mid-Atlantic IECA Chapter president since 2015. For the past 2 years, Dylan has served as chair of IECA - Region One Chapter president’s council. Mark Myrowich served as president for the Northern Plains Chapter from 1998 to 2017. In 2017, he was a founding member of the IECA Canada Chapter and currently serves as the IECA Canada treasurer.
