April 12, 2016

The Water Technology Acceleration Project (WaterTAP) announced it will host Ontario Water Innovation Week in Toronto from October 17 to 21.

The week includes two major anchor events. Water Innovation in Action 2.0 (October 18) is a one-day event focused on bringing together Ontario's water sector stakeholders to measure progress and plan for the future.

The fourth annual World Water-Tech North America 2016 (October 19 to 20), hosted by WaterTAP and Rethink Events, will bring global leaders to Toronto to discuss water innovation and investment.

The week will also include specialized workshops, tours, and networking events.

“Ontario Water Innovation Week will showcase what Ontario has to offer as the leading hub for water technology innovation,” said Dr. Peter Gallant, WaterTAP president and CEO. “We look forward to welcoming the world’s key players and to facilitating partnerships between municipalities, technology companies and investors.”

Sponsors of the week’s events include smart grid leader FATHOM, the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade, the Ontario Clean Water Agency, and the Southern Ontario Water Consortium.

Early bird registration for both events is now open.
