IECA, WEF Announce Memorandum of Understanding

The Intl. Erosion Control Association Region One (IECA) and the Water Environment Federation (WEF) announced their new memorandum of understanding.

The purpose of the agreement is to establish and recognize the two organizations’ common interests in order to commit to working together to advance the mutual interest, mission and objectives of each organization. Specifically, each organization agreed to collaborate to encourage effective and efficient storm water management practices to protect water quality; provide quality science‐ and technology‐ based education to storm water and water quality professionals; and identify and disseminate best practices. Each group will organize joint educational events and exchange speakers, technical content and share liaisons on committees and task forces.
