Land & Water Summit Focuses on Drought as an Opportunity

The Xeriscape Council of New Mexico and Arid LID are partnering once again to host the Land & Water Summit 2014: Drought as an Opportunity For Change. Over the past several years, drought has dominated many areas of the U.S. The demands on the nation’s limited and decreasing water resources are stressed, yet new demands are continuously being added. This year, the Xeriscape Council of New Mexico and Arid LID are striving to find both traditional and non-traditional speakers that generate positive change during a water crisis through storm water mitigation, water harvesting and low impact design principles.
