Aquatic Informatics Acquires Tokay Software

Aquatic Informatics announced the acquisition of Tokay Software, which is based in Delray Beach, Fla.

Aquatic Informatics offers solutions to streamline drinking water, wastewater, environmental data management, and regulatory compliance, according to an Aqua Informatics press release. The addition of Tokay to the company's group of brands expands solutions to include cross-connection control management and backflow prevention.
 

Granite Acquires Additional Trenchless Rehabilitation Assets

Granite Construction Inc. announced that it has acquired certain assets of Lametti & Sons Inc., a Minnesota-based company with expertise in cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation and trenchless renewal. Lametti & Sons is one of the original certified installers of the Inliner CIPP product. As part of this transaction, Granite acquired assets and equipment related to Lametti’s CIPP business., Granite press release

Newterra Expands Footprint with StormwateRx

StormwateRx designs, manufactures, installs, and maintains storm water treatment systems for a number of customers worldwide. With its Clara, Aquip, Purus, and Zinc-B-Gone products, StormwateRx helps customers comply with strict discharge requirements by offering  passive modular solutions to keep site water discharge quality within prescribed limits, according to a Newterra press release

The team of engineers at StormwateRx are experts at designing solutions for storm water and infiltration challenges. According to Newterra, every day they earn their reputation for helping in “Reclaiming the World’s Water.”

Lisa Kay Appointed to Environmental Finance Advisory Board

Alta Environmental President Lisa Kay was appointed by the U.S. EPA Administrator to serve as an expert to the Environmental Finance Advisory Board (EFAB) storm water finance workgroup of the Water Infrastructure and Resiliency Finance Center, according to a Alta Environmental press release.

The board provides ideas and advice to the EPA Administrator and program offices on ways to lower the costs of and increase investments in environmental and public health protection. This includes ideas and advice on removing financial and programmatic barriers that raise costs; increasing public and private contribution in environmental facilities and services; and more.

Oldcastle Infrastructure Acquires Primex Technologies Inc.

Oldcastle Infrastructure acquired Primex Technologies Inc. Primex is a manufacturer of engineered plastic enclosures located in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. Since 1971, Primex has been providing enclosures to customers in the communications segments across North America. 

According to an Oldcastle Infrastructure press release, Primex has achieved more than one million installations. The acquisition of Primex expands its product line offering and enhances its service to the communications market.

Multiple Fuscoe Eng. Employees Attain Professional Engineer Licenses

Fuscoe Eng. Inc. announced that three Fuscoe staff members have earned Professional Engineer (PE) licenses by passing the California State  Professional Engineering Exam: Ashley Teani, PE, QISP, a storm water engineer in Fuscoe’s Irvine office; Eduardo Cruz, PE, an engineer in the firm’s Los Angeles office; and Charles Chiang, PE, an engineer in its Irvine office.

Restoration + Recovery Acquires DGC Environmental Services Inc.

Restoration + Recovery (R+R) announced that it has acquired the assets of DGC Environmental Services Inc. (DGC), a leader in storm water services in Florida with operations throughout the Southeastern U.S. 

The acquisition of DGC supports R+R’s announced strategy to provide comprehensive storm water management services with broad geographic coverage. R+R currently operates in 39 states and Puerto Rico. This transaction expands R+R’s existing presence across DGC’s Southeast footprint, providing additional service delivery depth and further strengthening its best-in-class service model.
