Abstracts for Upcoming Plastic Pipe Conference Available
Presentations by industry professionals at the Society of Plastics Engineers - SPE - Plastic Pipe Conference will range from scientific white papers to the fundamentals of selecting the proper pipe. Abstracts of all 23 presentations are now available at the conference’s website. The Plastic Pipe in Infrastructure and Industrial Applications Conference will be held outside of Philadelphia, April 16 and 17, 2019 and will focus on water, sewer and gas system applications plus new developments in areas such as composite plastic pipe.
Waterline Renewal Technologies Announces Acquisition
Waterline Renewal Technologies, Inc. (WRT) has been acquired by Behrman Capital (Behrman). WRT was formerly a division of Triwater Holdings, LLC.

IECA Region One Announces 2019 Presenters of the Year
The International Erosion Control Association (IECA) Region One has announced the 2019 Presenters of the Year Jason Lederer, CPESC, LEED AP and Troy Thompson, MS, PE for their session Turning the River Right-Side-Up – Restoring the Swan River After a Century of Mining Impacts.
The session describes the first phase of restoration work on the Swan River Restoration Project near Breckenridge, Colorado. The Swan River Valley endured dredge boat mining in the early 1900’s that left the valley bottom void of natural resources. The project the session is based on focuses on showcasing techniques to reclaim and naturalize a severely mine-scared landscape to a geomorphologically appropriate channel, floodplain, riparian fringe and upland corridor.
Expanded Storm Water Offering with Suntree Technologies Acquisition
Oldcastle Infrastructure is part of the Building Products division of CRH. Oldcastle Infrastructure has acquired Suntree Technologies.The acquisition augments Oldcastle Infrastructure’s line of storm water conveyance, storage and treatment solutions.
