StormTrap, Lafarge Announce License Agreement
StormTrap and Lafarge Canada Inc. announced that they have entered into a licensing and manufacturing agreement. StormTrap has granted an exclusive license to Lafarge to develop and commercialize StormTrap’s detention and retention products in western Canada. StormTrap's systems join Lafarge’s existing oil/grit separator and storm water filtration products, providing a full range of storm water solutions.
StormTrap storm water systems are designed to control volumes and flows leaving a site, while maximizing the volume of water stored and minimizing the project’s overall footprint. StormTrap systems comply with all Canadian surface loading requirements. Lafarge completes the solution by providing project engineering and design.
“StormTrap further adds to Lafarge’s environmental and sustainable product offerings which support LEED and other green building programs,” said Graham Fuga, storm water specialist, Lafarge.
"StormTrap and Humes, a division of Holcim (Australia) Pty Ltd, have worked together for nearly eight years,” said Shawn Luton, vice president of sales, StormTrap. “Today's announcement represents a natural expansion of our strategic relationship with LafargeHolcim and continuing collaboration to deliver solutions to meet clients' business objectives."
